New Song music faculty is composed of an array of accomplished musicians and teachers. Many are music education majors or education majors with music minors, many are certified teachers, holding education & music degrees or associate degrees, some with emphasis on instrumental or vocal performance. Some have extensive performance and teaching backgrounds in the community, including the symphony orchestra. Some have served as music teachers in several schools, including public schools in our area and other states. Some have served in several churches either as pianist, organist, or soloists or held positions as minister of music or childrens choir director or church accompanist. Several of our teachers are serving on worship teams in the area churches. Some were involved in music since and early age and from musical families or have been teaching privately for many years. Some of our faculty are composers, writers and visual artists, as well.
